Looking for a place to satisfy your scrapbooking fix and meet new friends? Come join us for a day of scrapbooking and card making. Limited, non-consumable scrapbook supplies will be provided, so bring your favorite supplies and pictures. Come and go as you please. Free. Prize drawings will be held on the hour. Kids 7 and up are welcome and can participate in making a Valentines banner and cards for the children at Seattle Children's Hospital. Hi

I am designing a Chinese class for toddlers. I am having free classes on Thursday mornings from 9:30-10ish at my house to test the teaching materials. It is mostly dancing, singing, and stories in Chinese. I have space for couple of more kids. Let me know if you are interested in coming. Feel free to pass it to others. I will probably do the test till Feburary. It is meant for people who don't know Chinese but interested in getting their kids and themselves exposed to the language in a fun and relaxing environment.

I read about this in the latest issue of Seattle Magazine. It started out as a lesbian concept, but now has just expanded to all women. Sounds like music that I could dance to! And, it's at a reasonable time, 5:30-9:30 in Seattle, for woosies like me!

Santa at the Preston Fire Department

Santa will be at the Preston Fire Department December 7 th from 2-4.  Last year they took kids for rides in the fire truck and had another open so kids could look in them.

Don't let the rain get you down. Come visit our indoor play land at the community center. Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday morning from 10am to 12pm; call for current dates. Your child (ages 1-5) will enjoy a variety of toys and play equipment and making new friends, for only $3. We are still growing and would appreciate any riding or infant table top toys. FW: Little Gym vs. Gymboree

Hi guys,

We are realizing Isabelle is needing more activities now that she's getting older, seeing how much she loves KinderMusik, and since we didn't make it into the Wobblers class :( . We are exploring signing her up for one of the local gyms. Anecdotally we know a lot of people with kids at Little Gym but no one at Gymboree. Anyone understand the differences in terms of activities, prices, etc. or heard anything good/bad about either?

Thanks so much for any input and let me know if anyone else is interested in signing up. I know Little Gym next session doesn't start until 2/4.
